Convenience

Our Southport facility is the preferred option for our traveling patients as consultations are conducted in our office facilities located onsite within the hospital. It’s also ideal for patients whom are traveling, as accommodation options are located within walking distance from the hospital.

Up until October 1st, you will have the option to schedule your consultation followed by surgery the following day. This saves on time away from home, family and friends and out of pocket expenses. If you are suitable and proceed with surgery, you will be required to stay within close proximity to the hospital for a further 48 hours post-surgery before traveling home.
If you cannot return to us for your post-operative check-up, your local GP will be able to change your dressings after one week. We encourage you to contact us directly should they, or yourself, have any questions what so ever in relation to your recovery.

Choice

TCI is one of the few Cosmetic Surgery providers that allows patients to choose their surgeon. The decision to undergo Cosmetic Surgery is one that should be taken with particular care and extensive research. It’s imperative that you feel safe in the hands of a reputable surgeon. That’s why we’re allowing patients, from both Sydney and The Gold Coast, to hand select the surgeon of their choice.

With thousands of patient transformation images and surgeon showcase videos, patients can easily navigate through our social networking platforms and research our surgeons in detail before making their decision.

Comfort

Your welfare, comfort and safety is always our first and foremost priority. It’s imperative to have moral and physical support throughout your journey. TCI enforces this policy and will only allow patients to be discharged and taken home by a chaperone. Make sure you bring someone you love and trust. If you must travel solo, inform our Cosmetic Consultants so they can arrange a home nursing service for you.

Care

At TCI, each and every one of our surgical procedures is performed out of licenced private hospitals. Each and every one of our surgeons is a registered member of AHPRA, each carrying the MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and surgery) qualification. While our anaesthetists are fully licensed fellows of ANZCA (Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists).

On the day of your surgery you will be cared for and attended to by your surgeon and our team of very capable nursing staff until they see fit for you to be discharged from recovery post-surgery.

It is very important that you follow your post-operative directions once returning home. We advise taking at least 5-7 days off work and allowing 6 weeks before returning to “normal activities” such as gym, heavy exercise and any strenuous physical movement. This will be discussed with you when you come in for a consultation.
